Structure
The Council advises the Committee. It is the professional office where evidence, policy, media and country work are prepared before a decision is taken.
ICLAC is in its founding/launch stage. The Council is open to scientists, veterinarians, behaviourists, legal and policy specialists, educators, and other professionals who share the declaration. Names and personal details stay private unless a person chooses otherwise. What we may publish is the work, the roles, and the spread of expertise.
Advice and documents come from the Council. Decisions sit with the Committee. Each body has its own virtual office. There is no cross-access. Papers move between them through a formal channel.
Council members work in rooms that match the task. A person may sit on the Council without leading or working in a group.
Keeps the evidence file honest, tracks the studies, and prepares briefs the Committee can stand behind.
Watches bills and consultations, keeps the Legislation Table current, and drafts wording that can travel.
Helps local advocates use the shared files with retailers, committees and the public.
Country and regional representatives who know their own process and can place the same package in the right hands.

Education, media, retail advocacy and country representation are also needed. If your skill sits next to the work rather than inside one of those three cards, still write.
