ICLAC launches the Global Legislation Table

We have published a new public resource on the ICLAC website: the Legislation Table.

It is a living record of where aversive dog-training tools are restricted, banned, proposed, stalled or still under review. That includes electronic shock collars, prong collars and related devices, across countries, nations, states, provinces and territories.

The point is practical. When advocates write to a government, a committee or a retailer, they should not have to start from scratch every time. They should be able to see what has already been done, what is in force, what failed, and what is still moving.

The table is not a complete global survey. Each row is meant to be checked against the primary legal text before it is relied on in any formal work.

You will find:

enacted bans and strong restrictions
partial measures
stalled or failed efforts
live proposals, including current work in places such as New Jersey and Northern Ireland

This sits under Resources on the website, alongside related material as we build it out.

The table will be updated as the International Advisory Council reviews and confirms new entries.
