This reporting tool helps us build a secure, confidential record of the use of banned or harmful training methods (such as shock collars, prong collars, and other aversive tools) around the world.
Examples of what to report:
A trainer using an e-collar in Wales, Scotland, or any country/state/region where they are banned.
Public cases of dogs being subjected to fear, pain, or intimidation during training or handling.
Any evidence of aversive tools being used in countries or regions with existing restrictions (e.g. Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, etc.).
All reports are kept strictly confidential and are only accessible to the ICLAC Committee (when we have one). Your personal details are never shared publicly.
How your reports help dogs:
They help us document the scale of the problem and provide strong evidence when lobbying governments for better legislation.
Where laws are already in place, we can forward credible evidence to the relevant authorities.
Over time, this builds a powerful global database that supports our mission to protect dogs from harm and promote force-free, humane training worldwide.
Suggestions would be appreciated!
