Canine Psychotherapist/Educator
ICP is a recognized online educational forum providing diplomas and certifications to professionals and volunteers in the dog behavior and welfare sectors, globally. We are the only recognized school teaching Canine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based, non-harmful method proven to prevent behavioral surrender and euthanasia, increase the human-dog bond, and encourage autonomy, agency, decision-making and self-regulation - key elements of sentience.
Organisation
At International Canine Behaviourists (ICB), our mission is to elevate canine welfare globally by providing compassionate, science-backed solutions to behavioral challenges. Established in 2015, we are dedicated to protecting the physical and emotional health of dogs while empowering the guardians who love them.
Driven by our founding principle, "Welfare Never Compromised," we strictly reject the use of force, aversive tools, physical intimidation, and shock collars. Pain, fear, and coercion have no place in modern behavior modification. We advocate exclusively for evidence-based, force-free methods that address the root causes of behavior rather than suppressing symptoms through fear or distress.
We approach every challenge with empathy, support, and zero judgment. By building trust at both ends of the leash, ICB nurtures stronger human-canine bonds and ensures that optimal mental and physical well-being of our canine companions remains paramount.
Organisation
ICT promotes modern, science-led training methods that priorities trust, communication, and the emotional wellbeing of the dog. Through accessible learning, mentorship, and a global community of like-minded professionals, ICT encourages trainers to continue developing their skills while upholding the highest standards of canine welfare and professional conduct.
Together, ICB and ICT specialise in understanding and resolving canine behavioural challenges through compassionate, non-judgemental, and evidence-based approaches. Our supportive ethos is shaped by real-life experience as dog guardians, and an understanding of how dogs learn.
