International Canine Legislation Action Committee
Our primary mission is to secure a worldwide ban on aversive tools and training methods — including shock collars, prong collars, choke chains, and any techniques that rely on fear, pain, or intimidation — while promoting positive reinforcement and force-free methods as the international standard.
Through advocacy, coalition-building, scientific education, and legislative action, ICLAC works toward laws that treat dogs with compassion and reflect modern understanding of canine behaviour and welfare.

Organisation
ICLAC is in its launch stage. The three virtual offices on this website are now open and professionals are on board. The organisation is growing day by day.
The Committee is the decision-making body. The International Advisory Council advises the Committee. Members and Supporters help the work through petitions, letters, sharing and other practical action. Express interest.
The International Advisory Council works through specialist groups: Scientific Evidence, Legislative and Policy, Advocacy Support and Materials, Regional Coordination, and Media and Communications. Country and regional representatives bring local knowledge into that advice. Express interest.
There are three separate virtual offices on this website: Members and Supporters, the Committee, and the International Advisory Council. We also have 900+ members/supporters in the private FB group.
We are working toward formal registration as a not-for-profit. A Privacy Policy covering data handling in line with GDPR will be published shortly.
